Cancer Screening for Women Over 45 — Beyond the Standard Tests

Mammograms and Pap tests catch breast and cervical cancers. Colonoscopies catch colorectal. But these three together cover only a fraction of the cancers that affect women over 45 — leaving ovarian, pancreatic, liver, uterine, lymphoma, and dozens of other cancers without a routine screening pathway. EPISEEK® is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood test that screens for signals of more than 60 cancer types from a single blood draw, complementing the screenings you already get. Results in 7–10 days from a CAP-accredited, CLIA-certified laboratory.

How EPISEEK® fits into your existing care

EPISEEK® is designed to complement — not replace — the screenings you already do. It works alongside mammography, Pap testing, and colonoscopy by checking for signals of the cancers those tests don’t catch.

From a single blood draw, EPISEEK® analyzes DNA methylation patterns in cell-free DNA. These epigenomic markers can indicate the presence of cancer signals across more than 60 tumor types, often before clinical symptoms appear. Results are returned in 7–10 days with a clinical report reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider.

What EPISEEK® adds to your annual care:

  • Screening signal for cancers without standard recommended screenings (ovarian, pancreatic, liver, uterine, and more)
  • A single test instead of separate single-cancer screenings
  • Compatible with continued mammograms, Pap tests, and colonoscopies
  • Results delivered in a clinical report your provider can review with you

What EPISEEK® is not:

  • A replacement for mammography, Pap testing, or colonoscopy
  • A diagnostic test — positive signals require follow-up workup
  • FDA-approved or insurance-covered (it operates as a Laboratory Developed Test)
